ELSA support for parents/guardians

We are passionate about supporting mental health and wellbeing, not only for our pupils and staff but also you, our parents and carers. ELSA support is lead by Ms Harris from the Yellow Room. Ms Harris is a qualified Emotional Literacy Advisor having trained with the Somerset Educational Psychology Service. She has also studied Counselling, Mental Health First Aid and has many years experience in supporting mental health.

The school offers ELSA provision to all parents and carers who need support either for their child or for themselves. The work can be disorder specific or general help with things like creating a new bedtime routine or general behaviour issues. What ever the need, please feel free to come in for a private chat. This page is here to share links for you to find guidance on mental health and wellbeing. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
