From September 2013 PE is by the Primary School Sport Funding Programme to improve PE and sport provision. North Curry Primary School will receive £8605 this financial year.

The money has to be used to:

What are we spending it on?

  • Employing a specialist PE coach to support the PE coordinator in creating and updating a PE action plan.

  • Buying into existing local sports networks - Tone Sports – to enter the children into the tournaments etc.

  • Providing places for pupils in after school sports clubs – Football, Netball, Hockey, Tag Rugby & Multiskills.

  • Using our House system to enable regular inter-house sports competitions for children of all ages. Our coach Matt Bulbeck is involved in organising the annual sports day.
